Jack Daniel's comes from a distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. It is made using pure cave water and a unique mellowing process perfected by Jack Daniel in 1866.

Tennessee whiskey is similar to bourbon, but different in that it is filtered through a 3-foot layer of maple charcoal, resulting in a smooth, slightly smoky character with notes of cinnamon and wood. It is made from 80 % corn, 12 % rye and 8 % malt.
