Jameson Triple Distilled & Triple Cask

Jameson Triple Distilled & Triple Cask is a whisky that is 3 times distilled and matures in 3 casks. The casks used are ex-bourbon and ex-sherry. Finally, the malt aged in casks that previously held Malaga wine, which turned out to be a great idea for flavoring the whisky. Malaga is a fortified wine originating from Spain. It is characterized by its dark color and caramel flavor, as well as a high concentration of residual sugar.

Initially, we can sense in the aroma the fruity notes of sweet pear, which develop into spicy citrus peel with some dark fruits in the background. Hints of cinnamon and cloves gently balance with the sweet influence of the Malaga wine casks.

On the palate, we experience juicy notes, full of sweet orchard fruits and light tones of blackcurrants, plums, and raisins. Spice gradually builds up, adding depth with notes of cloves and black pepper that layer over oak tannins and contribute dark chocolate and sweet licorice to the finish.

Bottles were filled with an alcohol content of 40 % and a volume of 1 l.
