Remus Highest Rye 6 Year Old
Aged for 6 years and containing the highest amount of rye that bourbon has to offer, Remus Highest Rye is masterfully crafted to pay homage to the popularity of rye during the Prohibition era.
The palate, with sweet, rich fruit and maple aromas, delivers robust notes of candied fruit and a lingering spicy finish with cinnamon and saddle leather. Remus Highest Rye Bourbon is proof that what could have been, can still be today.
If baseball had Ruth in the 1920s, bourbon had Remus. Pharmacist, successful lawyer, and king of the distillers - Remus used his pharmaceutical and legal knowledge to find loopholes in the Volstead Act that allowed him to dispense his drinks to the masses for "medicinal purposes."
Each bourbon is carefully crafted at the historic Ross & Squibb distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana - just a few miles from Cincinnati, where Remus ran his Prohibition empire - and meets the uncompromising standards for which Remus's bourbon was famous during his reign.
