Buffalo Trace
The new edition of the classic Kentucky bourbon Buffalo Trace is drunk without ice. It's a wonderful whisky with lots of vanilla, charred barrel notes and spicy complexity.
For more than 200 years, Buffalo Trace Distillery has been dedicated to a single craft: making quality bourbon whiskey. By honoring tradition and embracing change, the distillery has earned its place as a leader among the world's legendary spirits producers. Their flagship bourbon, not coincidentally, has won more than 100 awards.
Buffalo Trace uses a specific combination of grains known as a "mash bill" to make their blend of grains. This includes corn, barley, rye and sometimes wheat. The exact ratio of grains is a closely guarded company secret and contributes to the distinctive flavor.
The whisky, already distilled, is then poured into new American oak casks, which are smoked inside to give the whisky its characteristic woody notes. Buffalo Trace uses high-quality casks with varying degrees of roasting, which contribute to the rich palette of flavours.
