Scary drinks created with the help of Ai for the perfect Halloween party
Dark Curse
This cocktail uses the dark notes of Black Tears rum and adds a spooky atmosphere thanks to the colour and decorations. It's refreshing yet dark enough to be fit for any Halloween party!
Ingredients:
50 ml Black Tears Spiced Rum
20 ml fresh lime juice
10 ml Monin Grenadine or Raspberry (for a bloody effect)
50 ml black tea syrup (or strong chilled black tea, green tea with a little sugar)
Ice
Black/White/Coloured sugar on the rim of the glass
Blackberries or cherries for garnish (for a dark look)
Procedure:
Wet the rim of the glass with lemon or lime and roll it in black sugar for a Halloween effect. Add ice, Black Tears rum, lime juice, grenadine and black tea syrup to the shaker. Shake until everything is well mixed. Strain the cocktail into the glass through a strainer to keep it clean and smooth. You can add blackberries or cherries on top to give the cocktail a dark look. For an extra spooky effect, add dry ice to the glass (but make sure no one touches it until it melts!). Decoration and serving: you can skewer black rubber spiders or other Halloween decorations onto the cocktail stick. You can also add a few red spots of grenadine on top of the drink to make it look like drops of blood. The Dark Curse cocktail has a spooky look, yet a refreshing and interesting flavor profile thanks to the Black Tears spiced rum.
