Suntory Haku Vodka
Suntory Haku Vodka is made from 100 % Japanese white rice and the name Haku means "white" in Japanese. The word can also be read as "brilliant" - a tribute to the craftsmanship that goes into making a clear, clean-tasting and vibrant vodka.
Haku Vodka, filtered through bamboo charcoal, has a uniquely smooth, round and subtly sweet taste.
Founded in 1899, the House of Suntory was founded on the dream of Shinjiro Torii, who, at the age of 20, wanted to "create original Japanese spirits endowed with the richness of Japanese nature and the artisanal art of 'monozukuri'" - meaning a relentless pursuit of perfection, meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to quality.
Shinjiro overcame many hardships to make his dream a reality, creating wine, whisky and brandy, and in 1956 he launched Hermes Vodka - the first Suntory vodka.
Haku Vodka is created in harmony with the nature and spirit of Japan, true to the vision of Suntory's founder - and now it's ready for you to discover and share.
At Suntory, they strive to select the finest ingredients while using innovative production techniques to create spirits of unparalleled quality and unique Japanese character.
It starts with pure white Japanese rice. White rice, milled and polished to perfection, is revered for its delicate and subtly sweet taste - it is the ultimate symbol of Japan.
