Suntory Hibiki Blossom Harmony

A limited blended whisky from Suntory that brings to life the harmony of Japanese nature and craftsmanship. Suntory Hibiki Blossom Harmony 2022 is beautifully smooth and balanced. This is a whisky that is inspired by Japanese sakura blossoms. It combines a selection of rare malt and grain whiskies that have been finished in sakura wood casks to create this unique flavour profile.

Hibiki means "resonance" in Japanese. Since its launch in 1989 on the occasion of Suntory's 60th anniversary, Hibiki has embodied Suntory's philosophy of living in harmony with nature and people.

As the founding house of Japanese whisky and the house of master blenders, the House of Suntory has taken great pains to explore the breadth and depth of what harmony can mean to a blend. Each expression of Hibiki is one of the most sought after blends in the world, where each expression of Hibiki is carefully crafted to allow us to discover a different kind of Harmony.

Achieving the right balance proved to be a challenge from the start, as the Sakura barrel is one of those barrels with a strong character that can easily become too heavy.

After much trial and error, it was found that grain whiskies finished in a Sakura cask best brought out the overall balance as a slowly unfolding harmony of blossoming flowers.

The end result is an extremely unique expression of Hibiki whisky. An inviting floral bouquet followed by Hibiki's characteristic depth and complexity in the form of honey, candied orange peel, jasmine and chocolate decadence, all culminating in a surprising finish with bittersweet spice notes.

The bottles are bottled at 43 % alcohol with a 0,7 l capacity and come in gorgeous gift boxes.
