Suntory Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master's Select
Suntory Hibiki Japanese Harmony Master's Select is a delicate and highly regarded blended whisky, which is part of the portfolio of Japanese whiskies produced by Suntory, one of the most respected Japanese distilleries. This particular product combines various types and age groups of whisky to create a harmonious and balanced blend.
The production of Japanese whisky typically begins with the selection of quality grains, such as barley, corn, or wheat. The grain is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for fermentation. The grain is ground into a fine flour to release the sugars needed for fermentation. The ground grain is mixed with water and yeast to start the fermentation process. Yeast converts the sugars into alcohol, creating an alcoholic mixture known as "moku."
Moku is distilled in traditional pot stills. The distillate is filled into oak barrels, where it begins to mature. During this process, the whisky gains its characteristic flavor, aroma, and color due to the interaction with the wood of the barrel. Suntory Hibiki contains whisky from various age groups, adding to its complexity.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 43 % and come in gift boxes.
