Tariquet Pure Folle Blanche Bas - Armagnac
Pure Folle Blanche Bas - Armagnac from Domaine Tariquet is a blend of eaux-de-vie. It is made from the only traditional variety of Armagnac: Folle Blanche. The youngest eaux-de-vie that make up this blend have been aged in oak barrels for at least 3 years in the Tariquet cellars.
It has the beautiful colour of aged rum. Delicate, spicy, nuanced aromas, without austerity, with just a hint of vanilla, enhanced by notes of cinnamon and dried fruit. The rising esters give a scent of cocoa and vanilla. The palate is full-bodied, with spices and sultanas, balanced and strong. On the finish, aromas of vanilla, dried fruits, spices and plums are highlighted.
Domaine Tariquet owns 1,125 hectares of vineyards, which means that all Tariquet wines are its own. Domaine Tariquet produces Armagnacs, white wines including the famous Cuvée Premières Grives, rosé wines and Domaine du Mage red wines.
The estate first rose to fame in the 1980s with Cuvée Classic, the estate's historic cuvée, which celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2022.
It is from this period that Le Tariquet has earned its reputation. Since then, Armin and Rémy Grassa (owners of the company), following in the footsteps of their father and aunt, have put all of Tariquet's experience into wonderful dry white cuvées such as Côté, Réserve and Bulle de Tariquet with Entracte, which offer creamy bubbles with gourmand notes.
The bottles are bottled at 45 % alcohol with a volume of 0,7 l and come in gift cartons with a beautiful clean design.
