Tepache African Special Blend is a 100 % natural, gently fermented African pineapple lemonade with natural vitamins C, A and zinc. Great for harmonizing digestion, metabolism, improving skin or immune system functions.
Pineapple contains many enzymes, so the fermentation process is natural, fully controlled by temperature and hygienic environment. Spices and herbs are activated by heat and the maceration process varies according to the type of spice. The production of Tepache takes several days, so consistency at every step is an integral part of the process.
The gentle fermentation opens up the flavour profile of the spices and extracts the most important substances from the herbs. Fresh pineapple juice adds freshness and balance to the balanced sweetness. Fermentation on the skins completes the complex aroma of Tepache. Therefore, a sediment is formed in the drink, which is made up of pineapple juice, pineapple pulp and a macerate of herbs.
