This 12-year-old drink in the Balvenie Triple Cask travel retail line is made from whiskey, which is matured in three different types of barrels, namely first-filled American oak barrels, traditional refilled barrels and first-filled Oloroso Sherry barrels. After ripening, the whiskey combines to form a cohesive and aromatic drink full of orchard fruit, egg custard and cinnamon spice.
