The GlenAllachie Cuvée Cask Finish 9 Year Old - Sold Out

The 9-year-old Scottish Single Malt whisky The GlenAllachie Cuvée Cask Finish is a showcase of a great selection of casks and finishing process. The distillate was distilled in 2012. It was then aged in bourbon casks.

Master Distiller Billy Walker carefully selected four different types of wine casks for secondary maturation. Two from the regions of Languedoc and Recioto Della Valpolicella and two barrique casks Premier Cru Classe Chateaux. When he deemed the casks ready, he expertly blended them to create a whisky that draws flavor notes from different types of wines and combines them into an exceptional flavor composition.

After maturation, the whisky is bottled at 48% alcohol content. No added coloring and no chill filtration. The bottle comes in gift packaging.
