Description
Dalwhinnie Winter's Gold whisky is an addition to the Highland distillery, which in 2015 was inspired by the cold climate in a remote part of Scotland where their single malt Scotch whisky is distilled.
The whisky is distilled between October and March, hence the appropriate name- Winter's Gold.
The aroma is full of oak spice, pear, syrup and malt, a touch of peach and caramel.
The palate is rich and honeyed with warm spice and red cinnamon, with hints of apple and orange peel.
Overall, Winter's Gold is an assertive, spicy, honeyed whisky with plenty of sweetness and character.
The bottles are bottled at 43 % ABV with a 0,7 l capacity and come in gift cartons.
