Description
Tullamore DEW Cider Cask Finished Irish whiskey is only produced at the time of apple harvest in Ireland (September to November). We select the highest quality apples, we still press them fresh, and this is the beginning of the process in which we produce cider in small batches. We store the pressed juice in oak barrels for several months. As cider ferments, sour and sweet tones permeate bourbon barrels, creating intricate layers of aromas and flavors that pay off richly. Our Master Blender then aspirates all the fermented cider and replaces it with the precious Tullamore DEW for the next three months.
