Ukiyo Japanese Rice Vodka
Ukiyo Japanese Rice Vodka is a rice vodka that embodies the purest of traditional Japanese distillation. The term Ukiyo (translated as floating world) refers to a state of mind that emphasizes living in the moment, separate from the difficulties of life.
Ukiyo Rice Vodka comes from the tropical Japanese island of Okinawa. It has been carefully crafted from the traditional Japanese distillate Awamori, found only on this island. The base of Awamori is long-grain rice (sativa indica variety) to which black kōji is added and distilled three times in small batches in traditional stills. In Japan, rice is known as the source of the purest spirits, and Ukiyo Vodka is no exception.
It has light, sweet and floral notes of violets and citrus. Ideal for pure enjoyment neat, gourmet combining with food or as simple vodka-soda drink.
