Portofino Dry Gin La Penisola is a limited edition prepared using traditional London Dry methods – all botanical ingredients are distilled at once in a large copper pot still. The brand also uses vacuum distillation to preserve the delicate, aromatic components of the plants.
Sustainability is also important in the packaging – the labels are made from recycled cotton waste and the caps contain 35 % recycled plastic.
The gin contains 10 carefully selected botanicals, including exceptional pine needles from the local coast, which infuse it with the essence of the Mediterranean Sea. The recipe is complemented by classic notes of juniper, lemon, grapefruit, mandarin, rose, rosemary, sage, marjoram and bay leaf, which create a fresh herbal and citrus symphony.
The scent opens with green, balsamic pine with a subtle citrus spark – grapefruit, juniper, lemon and mandarin, underpinned by subtle rose and herbal notes.
The taste is smooth, warm and round – a combination of pine tones with lemon and a subtle hint of grapefruit. The base is provided by herbs such as rosemary, marjoram and sage, with rose adding delicate floral tones. The finish is relatively long and refreshingly citrusy.
The bottles are filled with 43 % alcohol and have a volume of 0,5 l.

Imagine the fragrant coast of Italian Liguria and small fishing village of Portofino. A picturesque village with colorful houses and a turquoise sea was the inspiration for this award-winning Italian Portofino Dry Gin.
The unique microclimate of the coast there allows rich Mediterranean vegetation to grow all year round. Portofino Dry Gin contains 21 botanicals, each carefully selected for its natural aromatic properties. Local junipers, lemons, lavender, rosemary, marjoram, sage, iris and roses are all grown in the botanical sanctuary on the Portofino hills.
These are mysteriously mixed with local hand-picked ingredients and together form the secret recipe of this gin. After tasting, the fresh opening notes of lemons and juniper will take you through the hills of Portofino. The scent of wild rosemary and lavender will draw you into the atmosphere of the Mediterranean Sea, and the taste of marjoram and sage will remind you of the flavors of Italian Liguria cuisine.
Portofino Gin is produced in an ancient Italian distillery 2 hours away. Traditional and innovative distillation methods are combined with each production batch: from the old Italian copper pot still distillation method (used also in the production of local liqueur and grappa) to the state-of-the-art technology that produces vacuum distillation, preserving the aromas from our most delicate botanicals.
Made and bottled in Italy from natural ingredients.
Without adding sugar, preservatives and additional aromas.
