Exotic rum from Indonesia – Naga Siam Edition 10 Year Old combines precise Asian craftsmanship with tropical aging in barrels. Bottled at 40% ABV, it represents a sophisticated rum experience.
Naga Siam Edition 10 Year Old is made from molasses from sugarcane grown on plantations right by the distillery in northern Java. It is five times distilled in column still systems and then aged for ten years in 200-liter American white oak barrels previously used for bourbon, stored in an underground warehouse with a constant temperature, where the “angel's share” reaches 7 – 9% annually.
Notes of caramel, vanilla, candied fruit, and subtle spices combine with oak and tobacco tones. On the palate, it leaves a rich, exotic profile – vanilla, spice, oak, and a hint of tobacco, which gradually transitions into a long finish with notes of woody tobacco.
The name “Naga” comes from Asian mythology — the mythical serpent-guardian of treasures, reflecting the connection of natural riches and regional tradition. The rum embodies the heritage of Batavia arrack, a distillate known in Java since the 15th century.
