Planteray Vintage Collection Mauritius 2013 is an exceptional limited edition rum made from carefully selected casks that perfectly reflect the unique terroir of Mauritius.

This rum was distilled in 2013 from molasses in a column still, and its journey to perfection took 11 years. It matured for the first 9 years in the tropical environment of Flic & Flac in Mauritius in 200-litre bourbon casks. It was then transferred to France, where it matured for another 2 years in 350-litre Ferrand cognac casks.

This precise ageing process gives Planteray Mauritius 2013 its characteristic flavour profile, which is full of tropical fruit, caramel and vanilla, complemented by fresh citrus notes of lemon zest, passion fruit, banana and coconut. The rum's complexity is enriched by subtle undertones of nutmeg and tobacco, which add depth and uniqueness.

This edition is limited to 19 barrels, and each bottle is a true tribute to the art of distillation and ageing. It is ideal for connoisseurs and collectors looking for something special and exceptional. The rum is also bottled at 46,5 % alcohol content, which emphasises its full flavour and intensity.
