Description

AH Riise Danish Navy Westindian Bitter is a Danish hot classic, originally produced in all Danish pharmacies at a time when the West Indies belonged to the Kingdom of Denmark. It consists of up to 30 spices and medicinal herbs added to the extra-old XO Reserve rum .

Today, we associate hot liqueur with small, more intimate bars or as a starter before, during or after hunting and fishing. However, you can enjoy a glass of hot liqueur without special occasions. Feel free to have breakfast during one of those days when you don't have to rush anywhere. During the life of the author of the recipe A.H. Riisa, hot liqueurs were produced by pharmacists and considered as a therapy for most minor diseases. They were believed to have a generous positive effect on body and spirit. There is no reason not to taste the hot liqueur!
