A.H. Riise Royal Danish Navy Bitter 0.5l
A.H. Riise Danish Navy Westindian Bitter is a Danish bitter classic, originally produced in all Danish pharmacies at a time when the West Indies belonged to the Danish Kingdom. It consists of up to 30 spices and medicinal herbs added to extra old rum XO Reserve.
Bitter liqueur is now associated with small, more intimate bars or as a starter before, during, or after hunting and fishing trips. However, you can enjoy a glass of bitter liqueur even without special occasions. Feel free to have it for breakfast on one of those days when you don’t have to rush anywhere. During the life of the recipe's author, A. H. Riise, bitter liqueurs were made by pharmacists and considered a remedy for most minor ailments. It was believed that they had a generous positive effect on both body and spirit. There’s no reason not to try the bitter liqueur!
