Aberlour Triple Cask
Aberlour Triple Cask is aged in two types of American white oak casks and one type of European sherry cask. The three different types of cask also gave the name Triple Cask.
All Aberlour single malt whiskies are made with the finest local ingredients - barley and soft water from nearby Mount Ben Rinnes. Expertly crafted new spirit is usually matured for a minimum of 12 years in the finest hand-selected Oloroso sherry casks and American oak casks.
It is this double cask maturation that subtly blends the characteristics of each cask to create a truly rich and rewarding complex range of single malt whiskies. In this special edition, the maturation is up to triple, giving the whisky aromas of vanilla caramel.
The flavour of the whisky is incredibly sweet and spicy with notes of orange, apple, sultanas, toasted almonds and a hint of liquorice.
The bottles are bottled at 40 % alcohol with a volume of 0,7 l.
