Aberlour Triple Cask
Fill up your tasting glass and take your experience to the next level!
Aberlour Triple Cask matures in two types of American white oak casks and one type of European sherry cask. The three different types of casks also give the name Triple Cask.
All single malt Aberlour whiskies are made from the finest local ingredients - barley and soft water from the nearby Ben Rinnes mountain. The expertly crafted new distillate typically ages for a minimum of 12 years in the finest hand-selected Oloroso sherry casks and American oak casks.
This double maturation in casks gently blends the characteristics of each cask and creates a truly rich and enriching complex range of single malt whiskies. In this special edition, the aging is even triple, which has added aromas of vanilla caramel.
The taste of the whisky is incredibly sweet and spicy with notes of orange, apples, sultanas, toasted almonds, and a hint of sweet liquorice.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 40% with a volume of 0.7 l.
