This single malt whisky, produced at Lochranza Distillery, is one of the original, first ever fermented Single Malt distilled on the island of Arran. The inspiration for the name and packaging of this whisky comes from a legend that happened on the west coast of the island of Arran on a mythical peat bog called Machrie Moor. There are scattered stone circles from the Bronze Age. One of the stone circles is known as Fingal’s Cauldron Seat. It is a seat-shaped stone to which the legendary warrior Fingal allegedly tied his favorite dog Bran.
Aroma: citrus tones with a background of peat and a puff of smoke
