Balan Prosecco Extra Dry
Balan Prosecco Extra Dry is a sparkling Italian wine. The production area includes various types of vineyards with different depths in the Valdobbiadene DOCG region, particularly in San Pietro di Feletto. The grape variety is 100% Glera.
Where the surface is less sloped and the soil layer is thicker, the roots of the vine penetrate more easily. In the steepest parts of the vineyards, rock predominates, making vine development more challenging. The grapes are gently pressed, the must is taken at low temperatures, and maceration occurs at controlled cold temperatures to better extract aromas. The Charmat method is used, with fermentation lasting 40 days.
The wine has a strong acidity that gives it freshness, and the bubbles in the mouth are velvety and silky. It is recommended to be served with various types of fish, risotto, and other light dishes. Excellent as an aperitif.
