Balan Prosecco Extra Dry is a sparkling, Italian wine. The production area is different types of vineyards with varying depths in the Valdobbiadene DOCG area, especially in San Pietro di Feletto. The grape variety is 100 % Glera.
Where the surface is less sloping and the ground layer is thicker, the roots of the vines penetrate more easily. In the most sloping parts of the vineyards, rock prevails, which makes it more difficult for the vines to develop. The grapes are pressed gently, the must is removed at low temperatures and maceration is carried out at a controlled cold temperature to better extract the aromas. The Charmat method, fermentation lasts 40 days.
The wine has a strong acidity that gives it freshness, the bubbles in the mouth are velvety, silky. We recommend serving it with various types of fish, risotto and other light dishes. Excellent as an aperitif.
