Balan Vecchio Grion Rosso Veneto is a red, Italian wine, vintage 2018. It is produced in the vineyards of Ambrogio di Trebaseleghe, a vineyard near Balan, in an area that has always been known as "Grion".
The wines are vinified and aged separately. Fermentation takes place in cement barrels. The wine rests for 18 months in barriques barrels (about a third of which are new). Barrels deemed unsuitable are discarded before the wine is unified. After the merger, the wine rests in the tanks for at least 1 month. This is followed by 3 months of bottle ageing, but we recommend that this ageing is continued.
Elegance is the best quality. In the wine you can smell intense alcohol, tannins, acidity. Correspondence between aromas and perfumes. Intensity and aggressiveness on the palate.
Recommended to serve with roasted red meats, game (also with sauces) and with aged cheeses.
Colour: intense ruby with violet highlights
Aroma and taste: acidity, tannins, fruit
