BenRiach 10 Year Old The Smoky Ten
BenRiach 10 Year Old The Smoky Ten is crafted with a combination of peated and unpeated spirits that are aged for at least 10 years combined in ex-bourbon barrels, Jamaican rum casks and virgin oak barrels.
This creates sublimely smooth layers of sunny fruit, aromatic smoke and toasty oak spice that linger in a perfectly balanced sweet and smoky finish.
Master Blender Rachel Barrie and her team have crafted this expression with a delicious flavor profile of ripe fruit and creamy spices that support the peaty finish at its core.
Distillery founder John Duff traveled to Kentucky and South Africa to pursue a whiskey adventure. In 1898, he returned to Scotland and built the BenRiach distillery. The distillery boldly approached the art of distilling and cask maturation in its adventurous spirit.
As Speyside's progressive distillery, BenRiach produces unpeated, peated or even triple distilled malt whiskies and also owns some of the most experimental casks in Speyside. It is one of only two distilleries in Speyside to use malted barley prepared in its own maltings.
Bottles are bottled at 46 % ABV with a 0,7 l capacity. They are supplied in a gift tube.
