Firm and vigorous port wine from the Croft Winery. This winery was founded in 1588. It is the oldest of the original port houses. The cornerstone of Croft's distinctive style is the famous Quinta da Roêda, one of the most beautiful wine-growing estates in the Douro Valley, known as the jewel of Port wines.
Fine Ruby Port is blended with red wines from the Baixo Corgo and Cima Corgo regions in the upper Douro Valley. They were chosen for their color depth, intense fruitiness and full flavor. They mature in oak vats for three years, where they soften and develop without losing their fresh fruit character.
We recommend serving at 16 - 18 ºC.
Rich and fragrant white port wine Croft Fine White. It is made from white grapes grown mainly on the upper slopes of the Douro Valley. The grapes used include Arinto, Boal, Esgana Cão, Folgasão, Gouveio, Viosinho and Rabigato.
The individual wines mature in oak vats for about three years, where they acquire softness and character. They are blended to create a rich white port in a traditional smooth style with a full body.
Store in an upright position, serve at 6 - 10 ºC. After opening, we recommend drinking the wine within one month.
Croft Reserve Tawny Port is a Portuguese port wine, which is made from a mixture of quality red wines selected for their smoothness and delicate character. Before mixing, they matured for up to 7 years in oak barrels in the cellars of the Croft vineyard. At the end, the individual wines are mixed for several months to achieve a perfect balance. The mixture was filled into unusual minimalist bottles with 20 % alcohol content.
Store the port in an upright position and protect it from light. It tastes at a temperature of 12 ºC to 16 ºC. Thanks to its full tannins and refreshing fruit flavor, Reserve Tawny Port is suitable for combining desserts, game meat and cheese. It comes from the Portuguese Douro Valley. Decantation is not necessary.
