Set Davidsen's XO Black Label + Doorly's XO Rum
Davidsen's XO Black Label is the most intense Jamaican rum from the entire Davidsen’s series. XO is crafted from a blend of molasses rums, which is divided into two halves. 50% consists of Reserva rums and the remaining half is 15-year-old rums that have aged in American oak barrels.
This is truly a dark and deep rum that honors the traditions of dark Jamaican rum. It has a very pleasant sweet and intriguing flavor full of caramel and oak notes. We recommend serving it slightly chilled or with a cube of ice.
Just like the name of the rum Black Label, the label on this rum is also very dark. The bottle comes in a very nice brown-gold gift tube and is sealed with a cork stopper.
Barbadosian blended rum Doorly's XO was created under the guidance of Master Distiller Richard Seale, who is also the owner of the world-renowned distillery Foursquare.
It is made from a blend of several Column and Pot Still rums that have aged for at least 6 years. Finally, they matured in ex-sherry Oloroso Spanish casks, which imparted a great, unique flavor and pleasant aroma to Doorly's.
For maximum enjoyment of the rum, we recommend serving it neat, without water or ice, at room temperature. The bottle features a large blue parrot of the Hyacinth Macaw species, which is the largest in the world. The bottle comes in a very nice gift packaging.
