Clément VSOP is a rhum agricole that aged for one year in virgin French oak barrels and later three years in re-charred ex-bourbon barrels. It received a gold medal from the Beverage Testing Institute and scored 96 out of 100 points from Wine Enthusiast.
Clément VSOP is a Rhum Vieux Agricole from one of the oldest estates in Martinique, established in 1887. Even today, the rums produced at Maison Clément follow the old traditions inherited by founder Homère Clément and his son Charles. It is made from pure sugarcane juice and after distillation, it ages for at least 4 years in ex-bourbon barrels.
The aroma features spicy notes of toasted wood, dried and candied fruits, coffee, and cocoa. The taste harmoniously follows the olfactory notes. The finish is smooth, with hints of bourbon. Due to its versatility, it is perfect for sipping at any time of the day.
