Clément L’Initial Brut de Colonne

Hence the arrival of Clément L’Initial Brut de Colonne, a white agricultural rum with a beautiful crystalline colour, available in a limited edition of 10 000 pieces.

L'initial is the name Clément gave to his first brut de colonne rum. As the label proudly proclaims, this rum has an alcohol content of 71,4 %!

It is a very strong rum with a remarkably complex aroma of sugar cane, honey, spices and thyme. Habitation Clément is located in François, Martinique.

The rum factory was founded by Homere Clément in 1887 when he bought the estate at the height of the sugar crisis. At the time, Homere Clément was a very popular member of the Martinique community and mayor of Le François. He bought a prestigious sugar plantation known as Domaine de l'Acajou. This 43-hectare estate was considered one of the best sugar plantations on Martinique.
