Chateau vineyards are located in the Bas-Armagnac area. 60% ugni blanc grapes and 40% Baco grapes are used to produce Tariquet VS Classique. Armagnac matures for at least 3 years in French oak barrels. It is distilled in small quantities, although twice the amount is allowed, but it is slow distillation that brings Tariqueta complexity.
The bouquet has light tones of freshly baked bread and lightness of caramel. The tasting reveals a subtle warmth and leads to the taste of candied angelica. The taste is bold and youthful, with a touch of vanilla and the youth of roasted oak.
Domaine Tariquet Classic, year 2023, is a dry white French wine. Only natural fertilizers were used to grow the grapes for this wine. Ugni Blanc 45%, Colombard 35%, Sauvignon 10%, and Gros Manseng 10% were used for wine production.
The grapes are harvested by hand to achieve the best quality. The philosophy of Domaine Tariquet is to preserve the freshness and aromatic potential of grapes harvested from vineyards during vinification. The wine has an excellent intensity of fruity, floral and lemon aromas, even though it is dry.
We recommend storing in a cool place in an upright position.
