Chateau Rúbaň Blaufränkisch

Slovak quality wine with the designation late harvest, wine with protected designation of origin, red, dry. Variety Frankovka modrá, vintage 2022, South Slovak Wine Region - Strekov.

Hand-picked and sorted grapes from old vineyards from the best Strekov site Góre, were processed gently using a combination of traditional and modern production methods. The wine, after fermentation on the skins and malolactic fermentation, aged 12 months in new 1,300-liter barrels.

The wine has a light crimson color with a ruby sheen and a subtle varietal fruity aroma, mainly of ripe cherries and plums. The taste of the wine is harmoniously balanced, spicy with a dominance of stone fruits and underlined by elegant tannins acquired during aging in large barrels.

We recommend serving at a temperature of 15 - 17 °C. Bottle aging 3 - 5 years.
