Delamain XO
Delamain XO is one of the brand's finest cognacs, aged under the Grand Chai, an 18th-century building whose limestone walls offer ideal conditions for the humidity and adaptation to temperature changes that are necessary for the concentration of aromas.
"The fruit of a savoir-faire that has been passed down from generation to generation since 1824, Delamain XO stands out for the splendour and finesse made possible by extra-aged Grand Champagne eaux-de-vie, and reminds us why this first and finest terroir of Cognac is so celebrated."
CHARLES BRAASTAD,
Master Cellar
The nose and palate are full of candied fruit, fruit paste and melted raisins, punctuated by exotic accents of passion fruit.
Beautiful fruit length perfects the flavor of this spicy, gourmet cognac that offers a refined balance between nose and palate.
The year 1759 is the date when James Delamain, a native of Ireland, joined forces with his father-in-law Jean-Isaac Ranson, owner of an old export house whose origins go back to the very beginnings of cognac, and founded the James Delamain House. The house is still run today by James Delamain's descendants.
Delamain XO is to be served in a 'tulip' glass , the traditional glass for drinking cognac.
The bottles are bottled at 40 % alcohol with a 0,7 l capacity and come in premium gift boxes.
