Delamain XO
Delamain XO is one of the best cognacs, aged in Grand Chai, an 18th-century building, whose limestone walls provide ideal conditions for humidity and adaptation to temperature changes, which are essential for the concentration of aromas.
“Delamain XO is the result of savoir-faire that has been passed down from generation to generation since 1824, and it stands out for its beauty and finesse, made possible by extra old Grand Champagne eaux-de-vie, reminding us why this first and finest terroir of cognac is so celebrated.”
CHARLES BRAASTAD,
Master Cellar
The aroma and taste are full of candied fruits, fruit paste, and melted raisins, interspersed with exotic accents of passion fruit.
A beautiful fruity length enhances the flavor of this spicy, gourmet cognac, which offers a refined balance between the nose and palate.
Year 1759 is the date when James Delamain, a native of Ireland, joined forces with his father-in-law Jean-Isaac Ranson, owner of an old export house whose origins date back to the very beginnings of cognac, and they founded the James Delamain House. The house is still run by the descendants of James Delamain.
Delamain XO is to be served in a "tulip" glass, a traditional glass for drinking cognac.
Bottles are filled with an alcohol content of 40% with a volume of 0.7 l and are delivered in premium gift boxes.
