Dictador is a Colombian brand known primarily for its rums, but their Gin Ortodoxy White is an interesting addition to the portfolio.
This gin is inspired by traditional recipes and is made from alcohol derived from sugarcane. During the fifth distillation, carefully selected botanical ingredients such as juniper, angelica, and mint are added. The gin then ages for 35 weeks in rum barrels, giving it a unique character.
The aged gin comes from the creators of Dictador rum. The visual is inspired by the leather cover of former company director Daria Parra. After visiting Great Britain and enjoying what he called the drink of the gods (Who could argue? Gin is great!), he set out to create his own Colombian gin. He based it on a stunning recipe rich in juniper and angelica with minty tones.
