El Dorado Grand Special Reserve 50th Anniversary is an excellent Blended Rum, commemorating the 50th anniversary of Guyana's independence from the United Kingdom in 1966. It is a blend of molasses rums aged 33 to 50: 65% were distilled in 1966, 25% in 1966 and 10% since 1983.
Rum is found in a beautiful crystal carafe. El Dorado 50th Anniversary is a full-fledged and complex rum with tones of coffee, chocolate and a hint of orange peel.
We recommend drinking clean, possibly with an ice cube. This is a limited edition which means that only 600 bottles were produced!
Color: mahogany with brown highlights
Aroma: coffee, orange peel, dark chocolate, cinnamon, resin
Taste: complex, figs, nuts, coffee, chocolate, raisins, wood
Finish: long, orange peel, plums, figs, molasses
