Filliers Dry Gin 28 Barrel Aged
This barrel-aged gin is produced by the Belgian distillers Filliers from Dry Gin 28 together with 28 carefully selected juniper-based plants. It matured for about four months in medium-tanned barrels of Limousin, where cognac used to be, which gives it extra depth and vanilla creaminess. Gin aged in barrels is really coming into its own as a category at the moment, and when you taste this drink with good structure and taste, you will immediately find out why.
Aroma: orange and lime essential oils give way to florentines, vanilla pudding, almonds and the scent of orange bread and cake.
Taste: in addition to creamy juniper, you can smell citrus, especially lemon.
Conclusion: drying with tones of orange and cake with lemon glaze.
Overall impression: another magnificent gin of the Filliers brand, which matures for a while in barrels of Limousin cognac, and this gives it a delicate vanilla cake that you will feel in the taste and aroma.
