A limited edition of Foursquare Equipoise aged single blended rum produced at the Foursquare distillery in Saint Philip, Barbados.
The blend of rums is distilled on a double Coffey column still and a double retort still.
The rums were aged on site at the Foursquare distillery for 14 years; 10 years in bourbon barrels and 4 years in calvados barrels.
You'll be enchanted by the earthy aromas of chocolate, truffles and Maduro cigars, with subtle notes of apricot and orange blossom preceding a rich, fruity palate that highlights caramelized orange and cocoa with lingering leather and pipe tobacco on the finish.
No added sugar, colouring or other additives.
The Foursquare Exceptional Cask Series represents the most unique and sought-after rums from this famous distillery. Each release is hand-selected by Richard Seale himself and aims to strike a balance with respect to the desired profile, resulting in distinct vintages.
Equipoise, which means "state of balance or equilibrium", is a dark and intriguing rum with bold complexity from start to finish.
Bottles are bottled at 61 % alcohol with a 0,7 l capacity.
