Don Papa Sherry Casks

A limited edition rum of Don Papa Sherry Casks, aged first in ex-bourbon casks and then in four different ex-sherry casks: the Palo Cortado, Fino, Cream and Pedro Ximenez. The resulting blend is deliciously dry, with nutty notes and a rich fruity range of flavours. Don Papa Rum, or Don, was inspired by the story of one of the heroes of the Philippine Revolution: Dionisio Magbuelas, who was known as "Papa" Isio.

Aged in ex-sherry barrels, it gives it an indescribable aroma and flavor. Don Papa rum comes from the Negro Occidentale region of the Philippines, popularly known as Sugarlandia. Sugar cane grows here at the foot of the active volcano Mt. Kanlaon, where the finest sugar cane comes from to produce sweet and rich molasses.

The bottles are filled at 45 % alcohol with a 0,7 l capacity and come in uniquely designed gift tubes.
