Zacapa La Doma is the first release of an exclusive yet exceptional Guatemalan dark rum, originating from the limited edition Heavenly Cask Collection. This collection includes 4 rums that have undergone a unique aging process called Solera using various special casks.
The rum comes from the magical place House Above The Clouds, located in the mountains between active volcanoes at an altitude of 2300 meters. This collection embodies the passion and years of dedicated detail work that Master Blender Lorena Vásquez puts into creating Zacapa rums.
Zacapa La Doma aged in American ex-whiskey casks, known as Taming Cask, which imparted an immensely pleasant aroma full of refreshing notes of chocolate, wood, and vanilla. It is made from a blend of several rums that aged 6 to 23 years in the Solera system, giving them a delicious fruitiness.
