Glenmorangie A Tale of Tokyo is a single malt Scotch whisky that combines a bright, bold flavour with a subtle sweetness and is as full of delicious sensory contrasts as Tokyo itself.

Inspired by the desire to capture the experience of Tokyo's many sensory dimensions. This is the first experimentation with rare Japanese Mizunara oak casks, Dr. Bill has combined Glenmorangie whisky partially matured in Mizunara oak casks with whisky that has spent time in sherry and bourbon casks to create a unique limited edition that is perfectly balanced with Glenmorangie's house style.

The nose is spicy and herbal, with hints of butterscotch contrasting with notes of incense. All this is complemented by resin and a touch of cedar wood. The mouth is embraced by spicy notes to which flavours of sour oranges, bitter cherries and fennel are added. The finish is long and slightly nutty, with hints of almond, tangerine, white pepper and resin.

The whisky combines notes of spice, delicious fruit with sweet oak - creating a unique and complex flavour profile that is the result of the different oak cask recipes.
