Jim Beam Double Oak Twice Barreled + 2 glasses
Jim Beam Double Oak Twice Barreled begins his life as Jim Beam White. After selecting and unloading the 4-year-old barrels, they take the bourbon and put it back in the tanned virgin oak barrels, where it matures for the second time.
The second round of maturation does not have a defined time or quantity requirement. It lasts until it tastes right. I'm not kidding, the second edition of Jim Beam Double Oak says, "... and ripens a second time to taste."
The longer time spent in oak barrels makes it deeper, more complex and gives it a stronger oak base, which brings it closer to some of their smaller editions. I just want them to make it with 43 % alcohol content and not filter it with cold so it has a little more flair.
