Description
A small island community in the Jura distillery, it finds time to mature, stretched by the changing seasons and tempered by a unique microclimate. Each year brings its own richness to the uniqueness of this 18 year old whisky.
Aged for eighteen long years in ex-bourbon American white oak casks, this whiskey is then beautifully enriched with a finish in premium red Premier Grand Cru Classé Bordeaux barrels from the south of France. The result is an incredibly rich and fruity whisky with flavors of cooked raspberries, spices, rich caramel and custard anglaise.
Finally, it was filled into the typical bottles of the Jura distillery with a high 44 % alcohol content, which are found in tin gift tubes.
