Loch Lomond 12 Year Old Inchmurin
The 12-year-old Single Malt Scottish whisky Inchmurrin from the Loch Lomond distillery is produced in the Highland region. This whiskey is not a classic "Smoked" whisky, on the contrary, it has a very distinctive and fresh sweet tones of fruit, flowers and lime.
It matures in three types of hand-made ex-bourbon barrels, refilled and fired. No cold filtration and no dye added. Subsequently, it was mixed by Master Blender Michael Henry into the final form with a sweet and rich barley character underlined, fruit and warm spices.
It is named after the enchanting grassy island of Inchmurrin. It is the largest of the Loch Lomond islands and was once home to a chapel built by Christian monks in the 7th century. "Grass Island" lends its name to this excellent 12-year-old Single Malt. It is unique as the island itself.
