Description

Martell VSOP is a cognac made from a blend of eaux-de-vie. These are made from white grapes, from the Ugni Blanc variety grown in the Cognac region.

The grapes are first fermented, which converts the sugars in the wine into alcohol. The resulting cider has a low alcohol content. Distillation is carried out in special stills, the so-called double distillation, to obtain the eaux-de-vie, the basic raw material for the production of cognac.

The eaux-de-vie is decanted into oak casks, which are aged for at least 4,5 years (in the case of VSOP). During the ageing process, the cognac gradually develops and acquires its characteristic aroma and flavour.

This cognac is popular for its quality and refined taste. It is often drunk as a digestif after meals or used to make elegant cocktails.

The bottles are filled at 40 % alcohol with a volume of 0,7 l and are supplied in gift boxes with two glasses.
