Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy
Midleton, the brand synonymous with the annual release of Midleton Very Rare and limited edition Midleton Single Pot Still whiskies, added the first ever Single Pot Still to its range in 2011.
Bearing the name of Midleton's famous second-generation Master Distiller, Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy Whiskey is a selection of pot still whiskeys that have been aged exclusively in American bourbon barrels with a subtle contribution of pot still spirit aged in untreated American barrels.
This top of the range Single Pot Still, Midleton Barry Crockett Legacy, marks the first time since John Jameson that an Irish distillery has had a product named after a master distiller.
Single Pot Still whiskey is unique to Ireland in general and to Midleton Distillery, Co. Cork in particular, and is considered the quintessential Irish whiskey. Made from both malted and unmalted barley and then triple distilled in traditional copper pot stills, Pot Still whiskey is characterised by its full, complex flavour and wonderfully creamy mouthfeel.
Having won more than 30 major awards to date, this whisky is the true embodiment of its name.
It is bottled at 46 % alcohol at 0,7 l. They come in beautiful gift cartons.
