Padre Azul Blanco
Padre Azul Blanco is a premium white tequila from the Amatitán Valley in the Mexican state of Jalisco. It is made from 100% Blue Weber agave and after distillation it is immediately bottled without further maturation. The taste is dominated by the sweet notes of cooked agave, vanilla, citrus, but also with subtle notes of English mint, coconut, or fruit compote of cherries, peaches, and pineapple. It is a sweet and expressive young tequila. A timeless classic that is suitable for cocktails same as for sipping neat.
It takes 200 hands until the spirit finally gets bottled. It is not only a piece of art, but also a carrier of elements of Mexican cultural heritage. The label design was created as an homage to the Mexican "Lucha Libre" wrestlers. The unconventional leather label on the bottle resembles the leather mask of a proud Luchador who has never lost a fight and is hand-laced on the back. The metal skull cap weighs up to 270 g and is made from waste metal. The skull itself is a Mexican symbol of eternal friendship, traditionally celebrated on Día de Muertos.
