Padre Azul Reposado
Padre Azul Reposado is a premium tequila from the Amatitán valley in the Mexican state of Jalisco.
It is made from 100% Blue Weber agave, which is allowed to grow and mature under the scorching sun for over 8-10 years, absorbing heat and developing its unmistakable essence. The long maturation of the agave is perfected through several days of slow cooking, patient fermentation, and finally 8 months of aging in hand-selected bourbon oak barrels. The result is perhaps the most complex reposado tequila you will ever taste - perfectly harmonizing the tones of cooked agave with vanilla and fruity compote.
The production of each bottle of this tequila involves up to 200 hands from start to finish. Its design is not just a play of art but also a bearer of elements of Mexican cultural heritage. The label was inspired by Mexican wrestling fighters Lucha Libre. The unconventional leather label on the bottle resembles the leather mask of a proud Luchadora who has never lost a match and is hand-laced on the back. The metal cap with the skull symbol weighs up to 270 g and is a Mexican symbol of immortal friendship, traditionally celebrated during the Día de Los Muertos festival.
