Piccini Collezione Oro Chianti Superiore DOCG (2019) is an Italian red wine made from 85% Sangiovese and 15% Merlot, Chianti Superiore DOCG wine region, Tuscany, Italy.
The name of the collection "Collezione Oro" (translated as the golden collection) was reserved for wines of extraordinary quality and perfect balance originating from modern Tuscany. Passion, tradition and know-how are just the key ingredients that the Piccino wine brand uses to produce its wines at a high artistic level.
In the production of this wine, care is taken to ensure the perfect ripeness of the grapes and their protection against oxidation. The wine is fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks using fine extraction techniques that allow a number of flavor tones and light tannins to be obtained from the grape skins. The wine then matures to full perfection for 8 months in concrete tanks.
