Piccini

Piccini is a historic Tuscan winery founded in 1882 in the heart of the Chianti Classico region. Founded by Angiolo Piccini and his wife Maria Teresa Totti, the winery began by producing Chianti wine in traditional straw bottles. Their passion and determination were at the birth of the winery, which gradually grew and acquired new plots, laying the foundations for a family tradition that has continued for five generations.

During the second generation, under the leadership of Mario Piccini, the company overcame the difficult times of the Great Depression and World War II. At the same time, Mario opened Piccini's doors to the international market, exporting wines to Germany and Austria. The third generation led by Pierangiolo Piccini and his wife Marcella Sammicheli continued the dynamic changes, expanding the product portfolio and maintaining competitive prices for prestigious wines.

Today, under the leadership of Mario Piccini, the company manages five organic vineyards throughout Italy and is considered one of the most important Tuscan brands in the world. With the support of his sisters Martina and Elisa and with the active participation of the next generation, Piccini continues to write the story of Italian wine, preserving the traditions while looking to the future.
