Plantation Pineapple
Plantation Pineapple was created by Master Blender Alexandre Gabriel in collaboration with David Wondrich. The rum was created in honour of the revered Reverend Stiggins, whose favourite drink was 'pineapple rum' in Charles Dickens' The Chronicles of the Pickwick Club.
The rind of the Victoria pineapple is added to Plantation 3 Stars rum, which is then further distilled. Pineapple fruit is added separately to Plantation Original Dark rum. Both the distillate and the fruit infusion are finally blended together to create a rich and delicious pineapple bouquet accentuated by smoky and clove notes.
The bottles are filled at 40 % alcohol and have a volume of 0,7 l. Recommended to serve on its own or in mixed drinks, the rum adds an unmistakable flavour.
