Porta Leone Prosecco DOC Rosé Brut is an Italian rosé sparkling wine made from Pinot Nero and Glera grapes. The crop is harvested by hand at the end of August in the Treviso wine-growing region in northern Italy (50 m above sea level). Fermentes in a pressure vessel with selected yeast. It is filled into bottles and then left to mature for several weeks in a prepared warehouse.

This is a rosé sparkling wine made from two wonderful varieties, 90 % Glera and 10 % Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir). The Glera grapes come from the 'Rosalia' estate of Nervesa della Battaglia and the Pinot Nerro grapes from the 'Case Bianche' estate of Volpago del Montello.
Beneath the Pinot Nero vineyards there is a floodplain soil with a good texture of coarse gravel and sand deposited there millions of years ago by the Piave river. The Glera vineyards are trained by the Sylvoz system with variable density.
We recommend serving chilled to 6-8 °C.
