Signal Hill Whisky
Signal Hill whisky is made from Canadian corn, barley and crystal-clear water from Newfoundland. The whisky is not chill-filtered.
This corn-based Canadian whisky is distilled twice in a double-column still to achieve a light and smooth character. The barley whisky is distilled in pot stills, delivering subtle bready, nutty and malty notes.
It is aged in new white oak casks for notes of vanilla and caramel, in first-run bourbon barrels adding flavours of dried raisins and plums, and in Canadian whisky casks to enhance the grain character.
Canada’s changing climate contributes to the whisky’s personality, allowing slower flavour extraction from the barrels and creating a sweet, smooth profile. It is blended with pristine Newfoundland water in Canada, whose quality enhances the overall flavour of this carefully crafted blended whisky.
It is bottled in St. John’s within sight of Signal Hill. The bottles are filled at 40% ABV with a volume of 0.7 L.
